Carbon Basalt Power Layup


A carbon and basalt reinforced laminate delivers a snappy, energetic feel underfoot, loading up power through the edge and releasing it as clean, explosive pop. It’s stiff where you need support for big sends, with enough flex through the tips to dampen chatter and cushion landings.

A refined single‑to‑double concave base with subtle channels through the tips gives the Tempest a secure, grippy feel at speed. You get confident edge hold when overpowered, better tracking upwind, and smooth water release for faster, more controlled takeoffs.
