Passionate rider, world traveler, and wave freestyler, Hendrick joins Ocean Rodeo to keep pushing limits and living life by the water.

At Ocean Rodeo, we’re proud to work with riders who share our love for innovation, progression, and the pure joy of being on the water. That’s why we’re so excited to welcome Hendrick Witschi to the team.

Born on the Cape Verde Islands and now living in Switzerland, Hendrick discovered kitesurfing at just 8 years old and never looked back. In 2020, he added wing foiling to his skill set, and today he travels the world representing Switzerland at international world championships in both disciplines. His accomplishments already include Youth World Champion in kitesurfing, Swiss Champion in kitesurfing, and African Champion in wing foiling — but what stands out most is his passion for adventure and life on the water.

Currently competing on the GKA Tour as a wave freestyler, Hendrick is known for his fearless style and creative approach to riding. Whether it’s surfing, windsurfing, kiting, or wing foiling, Hendrick lives for the wind and waves — a spirit that connects perfectly with our own.
