Q1: Who are the new owners of Ocean Rodeo?

"Ocean Rodeo is now family-run—my brother Laurence and I are at the helm. We both come from a background in performance gear and technical materials, so we’ve always had a deep respect for what Ocean Rodeo has accomplished over the years. This is a brand built by innovators and performance-driven minds, and we’re proud to carry that legacy forward while expanding the brand’s reach worldwide."


Q2: Why did you choose to acquire Ocean Rodeo?

"We saw something really special in Ocean Rodeo—a brand with deep roots in innovation and a strong, loyal community. They've always been a pioneer in kite and wing design, and with the right support, we believe we can reach even more riders around the world. For us, it wasn’t about starting something new—it was about building on a legacy and making the sport more accessible without compromising on performance. That’s a mission we’re passionate about."


Q3: What can customers expect from Ocean Rodeo under new ownership?

"First and foremost—more of what made Ocean Rodeo stand out: performance-driven gear that’s built to last and constantly pushes the limits. But alongside that, customers can expect a stronger, more responsive brand. We’re investing in better customer service, faster delivery, and more accessible pricing—without sacrificing quality. We’re also expanding our reach, so riders around the world can get their hands on Ocean Rodeo gear more easily. This is about building a tighter connection with the community and making sure every rider feels supported, whether you’re just starting out or chasing the next big move."


Q4: Will there be any changes to the current product lineup?

"Yes—after taking a close look at the full product range, we’ve identified what’s working and where there’s room to improve. For 2025, we’re introducing new twin-tip boards, a revamped Control System, and a lineup of kites and wings designed to make Ocean Rodeo more financially accessible to a wider range of riders. At the same time, we’re continuing to offer our A-Series kites and wings—built with ALUULA composites—for those looking for the lightest and most technical gear on the market. And we’re not stopping there. We’re actively exploring new high-performance materials that could take things even further. Our design team is full throttle on the next generation of Ocean Rodeo products—and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming."


Q5: What is your vision for the future of Ocean Rodeo?

"Our vision is to make Ocean Rodeo the most rider-connected performance brand in kiteboarding and wing foiling. That means continuing to innovate with materials and design, but also making sure our gear is accessible, reliable, and supported by a world-class customer experience. We want to grow the sport—by welcoming new riders in, supporting pros at the top of their game, and listening to the community at every level. The future we’re building is about more than just great gear—it’s about trust, progression, and helping every rider push their limits with confidence."


Q6: How involved are you and Laurence in the day-to-day?

"We’re hands-on. This isn’t a boardroom brand—it’s personal to us. We’re involved in everything from product development and testing to customer service and marketing strategy. We talk to our designers, our reps, and our partners constantly. That’s what keeps us grounded and ensures the decisions we make actually serve the people using our gear."


Q7: How is Ocean Rodeo setting itself apart in today’s kite and wing market?

"We’re focused on real, rider-driven innovation. We’re not here to follow trends—we’re here to solve problems, improve performance, and make gear that actually helps people progress. The ALUULA material is a perfect example—it’s not just about being lighter, it changes how the kite flies, and how responsive it feels. At the same time, we’re working hard to get gear into riders’ hands faster and at a price that makes sense. That balance—between cutting-edge design and real-world value—is what we think sets Ocean Rodeo apart."
