I rode the 16 One for the first time today in very marginal conditons - here is the graph:

I was riding from around 3:30 until 4:30. I weigh 150 lbs and was on the Mako board. Only one other rider was staying upwind - he has about 40lbs on me but was riding a 26m Gaastra with a 6’2 x 20” wide directional. The 16 One feels much the like the 12 One but with a lot more low end power. It is incredibly smooth, and turns very well - bar pressure did not seem to be any more than with the 12 One.  It allowed me to ride a small kiteboard in conditions where I normally would have had to use a big floaty surfboard.

Both kites are fast and have great low end - they are just very different. You need to select based on your style of riding, or, if maximum range is most important, go with the One.

we want 16m vids…...huge jumps n stuff please!

as soon as my 12 lands with me I will do some of that…..but it would be good to see what the ‘daddy’ one is capable of!
