I bought this bar from someone and not to sure how it works exactly , the grey trim strap was under the ring so I pulled it out like was mentioned in the other post http://oceanrodeo.com/forums/viewthread/2657/ but the problem I’m having now is this , When I fully power up the orange strap slides up almost all the way through the ring and its impossible to de-power . Like in this picture http://imgur.com/RSkTma1. I’m assuming that the kite shouldn’t pull the strap that far and it should stop like this ? http://imgur.com/3ieJsNH. I’m assuming that the reason I find the kite has no power is because of this , only times I get a good session is when the wind is howling , it seem that the straps are just evening out and I’m not getting anymore angle of attack from the kite at all because any amount that I pull in the orange strap just slips thru de-powering the kite again . If I reach forward and give a little bit of a pull on the front lines the kite powers right up. Well Any insight would be appreciated.

I think that you should contact headquarters. There was an issue with the depower strap on the original bars. Headquarters sent me a new depower strap that solved the problem.
