I have a confession. I am a chronic under inflator. This has not been an issue until I started flying the RAZOR. I got away with it for a while but recently the airframe has been ‘twitching’ during powered up transitions. I’ve experienced this on BOTH my 2011 10m & my 2012 8m. HOWEVER yesterday I borrowed a pump with an inline pressure gauge & pumped my kite to 8 p.s.i. . The result was a rigid frame with no ‘twitch’ despite gusty conditions & powered up transitions etc. . I suggest O.R. make this inline gauge available to consumers. P.S.: The RAZOR rocks.

The Razors indeed needs a good inflating.
I have tried some gauge-fitted pumps over the years and none of them were up to the abuse (sand, salt, violence). I now use scientific tapping and squeezing the LE method. Works.

I don’t find my Rises perform well if under inflated. I just use the “bend the kite” method and allow for some warming on the beach if it’s sunny out.
