I know this has probably been done to death, but:

I’m 215 lbs, and enjoy jumping big - getting a bit older (in my 40’s) and the knees don’t like too much abuse.  I suppose the 130 is too small, and the 140 would be recommended?  I am used to a 134 x 40 as my typical ‘shred it’ board.  Will the 140 feel heavy?

Thanks!

Hi Mr,
The 140 won’t feel heavy, you would really enjoy it. It is not a light wind solution.
It’s the size Mako which can do it all ! and a joy for the knees.

I have lots of light wind weapons, so not really needed.  I would imagine the 140 goes upwind better than the 130, especially at my wieght.  Well, if the 140 doesn’t feel big and is quite jumpable, then that sounds like the way to go….

Welcome to the forums Mr!

I’d agree with Janus, at your weight the 140 is the ideal Mako board for you. It will be a ton of fun to jump and carve and will head up wind really nicely. If you then decide you want something bigger in the waves, you can look at the Mako King in mutant mode.
