Has anyone noticed that OR has a new Mako board in the lineup. Has anyone tried the 135 X 37 board? Sounds like a fun size.

There is no point in you having one Kirk . Peter will only steal it from you.

I got to ride one for a short, marginal 10 m session. I loved it! I was surprised how well it went up wind and of course that smooth as silk mako ride. Being 210 lbs. I thought it would be too small for the marginal wind conditions but was surprised how well it did. I want more time on this new addition, definitely a winner!

Pete, tell us more.

I’m waiting for a 135x37 with bated breath.

Where’re you located? Thanks DAVE

Hi Dave,
I live in “The Gorge”. This board was in the Kiteboard magazine 2012 boardtest that I was a part of as a tester. There wasn’t much wind, marginal for the 10 meter kites we tested that day, and I tested 5 other boards so I didn’t have it for a full session. I would love to get her on some good swell or ride her really powered up. I really liked what I got to experience but want more! Windance will hopefully have a demo for us to try, I hope. The kite test results are out in this months issue so I assume next month we’ll see the board test results. Give us a full report when you get on yours!

Thanks Pete.

Did the Razor 10M make the test? I am loving that kite. Amazing what range it has.

Would you compare the 135X37 to the Grom or to the 140x40 or any other board??

OR Mako’s and deep concaves were and ARE ahead of their time…...
