Is the “wheel” on the ONE pulley meant to turn? I never inspected it defore the first use, but since the first use, neither turns. Did it originally, and is it clogged with sand, or were the wheels always stationary, and the lines slide rather than roll over them? If they are meant to turn, any bright ideas to get the sand out?

Gte someone to hold the pulley where it attaches to the kite. Hold the line that goes over the pulley tightly and pull it back and forth over the runner until it frees up. if that doesnt work, try water and a toothbrush, give it a thorough going over while it’s submerged THEN do the pulley thing again.
If that doesn’t work, you could take it to a high pressure air line and blow it out…again while trying the pulley line thing.

Dont use oil…it will get a bit sticky…. which would be bad!

I would avoid lubes… just a personal thing… they are probably fine.

It’s just there is nothing like sand in suspension to wear stuff out :shock:
