I was going to print off the instructions for the bridle mod. phase 2, and it seems to be gone from the forum….wus up?

I suspected as much…I think I will hold off construction until I observe the improvements.

Would it be possible to quantify the bridle mods, somehow?

Such as,

Turning speed
  unmodified - 100%
  Mod 1 - 105%
  Mod 2 - 110%
Bar pressure
  unmodified - 100%
  Mod 1 - 105%
  Mod 2 - 110%

and of course, the all important
Hang Time
  ...

By switching from a 55cm to a 65 bar, I am quite happy with the turning speed on my unmodified 12m.  That was with the extensions removed.
I have now rigged Mod 1, with extensions back on, ready for my next session.

But it looked like mod 2 added a fair amount of line to the bridle.  Sometimes when I crash my kite, it get hopelessly tangled.  When I go big, it’s usually not far from shore, for fear of a long, tangled swim.

So, if I am going to add more line to my bridle, it would be interesting to know beforehand what sort of difference it will make!

Good idea !!!

I tried the 2nd mod on my 9m and it seemed to turn faster.If these kites spend much time in the water and roll over once or twice you are swimming home due to the long bridals.The leader lines definately tangle at the bar and the kite bridals tangle quicker than non bridaled kites.This is the only drawback I’ve encountered after about 60 days riding the 9m and 7m One.
