I got an Iphone.. and installed TouchBB app (forum brouwser)
Works great with KF so I try to add OR forum… doesn’t work for me..(server could not be reached)
What addres do I have to use? (use the adres in the normal browser, which works with KF)
Other crew using Iphone and TouchBB?

find another app “FK ForumKast” looks like i can connect (with or without login) but then no real data is shown…
Needs the forum a modification? or am i doing something wrong?
Anyone experience?

I believe an add in is needed to the BB code on the forum, I read soemthing about it over on either Kiteforum, or Kiteboarder. If the site doesn’t have it you wont be able to use it correctly.

Hi guys, I have given this a quick look but have to admit I am not a programmer.

Our forum is not run by PHPBB. Rather it is a forum plugin for Expression Engine (V1.6.9) called Discussion Forum Module (V2.1.2)

If anyone finds an app which supports this framework let us know!

In the mean time it is something that has been on my list of “web site priorities” for quite a while is to make our site more mobile friendly, however this would - will - involve a significant commitment of time and money to get done properly.

I’m no programmer either. The OR site and forum are browsable on iPhone but an app Will speed it up i guess.
Hopefully there Will be a solution soon ... Getting hooked at the iPhone ..

OK, I’m missing a trick here, but the iphone has a web browser right?  So what’s the point of an app to go to do something that you can already do?

lol, yes you are, but yes it has.

The apps for forums generally provide an interface better suited to the form factor of the phone than a browser does. It will get rid of any formats that don’t work well on your phone and just generally make it a bit easier to browse the forum.

Browsing THE forum from my holiday adres on my iPhone .. Would be nicer with an app.. Yeah geek alert!!
Got 2 nice 6m days in a row… Who cares about an app..
