That’s a great idea Jeriko.

Originally that recessed notch you are tying the rope off to was put in place to allow for a metal ring for just such a leash attachment point but we found the ring limited the quick and easy release of the safety system (you could not grab the cuff and release without ensuring your hand was below the cuff’s upper edge, otherwise your hand would strike the ring as you pulled up.)

Have you found this to limit your ability to release?

The 2011 Freestyle bar will have a leash attachment point that will include 2x metal d rings welded together to allow riders to loop one end of the ring over the chicken loop for a ‘suicide’ attachment, should they wish.

The red line that I have used is dynema, of course…..

Good to hear of the returning suicide D Ring, that was my only complaint of the SLE 3.0.
