I read that you guys are going to put this kite into production and I am really interested in getting one of these.
I’m curious what Ross has done to the Rise to optimize LW performance.
We get a huge amount of days here in Seattle in the 10-15kt range, and my big kite gets twice the amount of use of any other size in my quiver.

2011 Rise LW will be - essentially - a cross between a Rise and a Razor, a Raise? A Riser?

It will be higher aspect than the 2011 Razors but lower than the rest of the Rise line up as it will be a 4 strut design. This will reduce weight to allow the kite some get up and go in lighter winds but it will also increase turning speeds on this bigger kite. Overall, every spare mm of dacron will have been carved back as well to reduce flying weight.

Sprinkle in a little Ross magic and you have a hell of a kite!

When is this Kite to be available or is it still in the R & D stage.
