I’ve got a Cabrinha Golf Bag the big one, I alway have extra luggage and usually fly air canada and pay extra bag no matter what so this covers the bag, I flew from Moncton, NB to Iqaluit, Nunavut as I want to snow kite and heading to Cozumel for 3 weeks. Here is what I had in the bag, 2010 14m SwitchBlade, 11m and 9m X-Bow, two bars one big and one small, Mako King and Zen Wide with all the hardware, shorty wetsuit. All kites were in Dakine compression sacs these are good. In the end the bag was 68 1/2 pound under the 70 lbs air canada limit they didn’t care what was in the bag after I paid the $100. I like the bag and is good construction and didn’t have any problem getting everything in there. My harness and 7m went in one of my check baggage. Hope this helps I was having the same problem about a bag for the King and this one solved all of my problems.
If one would pack 2 kites one board and one bar would certainly be under the 50lbs limit and good to go as one checked bag. AirCanada in Moncton did not even check the size or what was in the bag.
I will end up paying $200 baggage fee’s for Cozumel for there and back but considering where I’m coming from it’s good value, I might check a few extra kites in my suitcase for sale down there.
