It what I use on my 6 and 8 on 25 meter lines, you could use a 45cm but the 50 works fine,  just keep you hand towards the middle for tricks.

I use a 2008 50cm bar on my Rise 6,8,12 rise. (or is it rises?)I do have a 40cm which I have used with my 6mt. All seem to work well. Does anyone have the numbers on reaction changes on the OR kites compared with different bar sizing. What is the science on different bar sizes? Does it all come down to how quick you can deflect the bar from max port deflection to max strbd deflection?

I think it all comes down to rider styles and kite control.
50cm is a good size for the 6m, especially if you keep your hands in the middle.
If the kite is turning too fast, then change your attachments on the kite to the slow pigtails.

It comes down to personal preference and what you are doing with the kite (waves vs freestyle etc). Some people use a 60cm bar on the 6m in the surf - in contrast, there are some that like the 40cm bar on the 12m!
