anybody got a spare one lying around?  my centre line snapped th eothe rday, leaving me with a big swim, and no bar stopper . more annoyed over losing the bar stopper than the swim.

If your kite is an 09, I believe you’ll find a stopper in the kite bag..

Too bad the center line wears out so easily… I’ve flown my 09 @ 16m. four times,,,  the spectra center line looks way more worn than the 08 @50cm. bar that   I hot - waxed the center-line before I used the bar….

If you don’t wax the line, you’re asking for trouble…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have a failure of this trim / safety line,,, Your safety goes for a shit!!! 
In my opinion,, any line that your safety leash is attached to should not be subject to wear that would cause the safety device to snap/fail during such a critical event…......

You guys build great kites, but your center line trim line safety is an accident waiting to happen…

If you sold the center line pre- stretched and hot waxed,, the problem would be lessened…......

I was lazy this year, and I didn’t pre-wax my 09 lines,,,  Well the line wear shows how quickly a failure could happen!

I love the rise kites,, world class equipment for sure…......

The guy in the original post had to swim into shore because his center line rope failed,,,,,,,,,,,  not a good product plug….........

Its an 08 Rise.  Agree with having stronger lines that wear better.  combination of factors, sand, centre hole and pulley.  i must admit i’ve never waxed my lines, but i’ll do it from now on.  if its asdvised, then prehaps they should be pre waxed.
