and yes, id agree that short lines does mean less alititude, but any longer at the top end and the power stroke is too long and i get ripped off downwind when sending.

john, i probably exaggerate a wee bit. 30kts is definately my limit. in the gusts above that we’re talking kite so low its practically skimming the water and about a foot and a half of trim in. down my local its not uncommon for me to be on my 10 when people are powered on 7s, purely as im too poor to buy a 6 so i have to make do. that said i like to be powered so my 15 rides up to about 17-18kts then the 10 comes out till its maxed

I don’t have a lot of photos of me riding but this is one of me on the way up to what I swear was a 500 foot jump.

I think it was the 140. It was an awesome jump. Completely snapped the thing in half on landing!

a little bit of evidence, mostly of my friend but theres a few reasonable boosts in there. the best one was a solid 25 footer with a tweaked grab which i forgot to edit in.. i’ll dig it out

It was the 140 and I think it was the 2nd biggest jump I got that day, but yes, it lead to me putting my foot right through the bottom of the board. I was on an 8m in really gusty conditions and didn’t send the kite at the right time when I was coming down so I came down pretty hard.

Come on y’all, come to Nitinat! We’ll have a maximum air contest!!!
