i think i have been sold 08 bar with my 09 rises is this going to affect performance i think bars are 08 because they dont have red plastic release they a black velcro type i dont know what 08 bar was like so im not sure what ive got will line lengths be ok i dont want to ring up shop and make a pratt of myself can anyone shed any light on this bar issue please

The 08 bar will work fine on a 09 kite. What you describe sounds like an 08 bar.
