Ok boys, last Wed on the south side Frisco OBX I had my first go with my Mako wide in large surf, it was SW 20+ and easily dbl overhead plus houses on the outer bars. I rode with some locals all on thrusters. The Mako W handled the conditions perfectly with the larger 2.5” surf fin on, carving the faces like a thruster and the versatility to tear apart the inside (which was a little narr narr) . Thanks OR for such a great board! All the boys were like, “what the hell is that thing” and after seeing me tear up the joint they wanted to try it!

John! I just got word from Kmac my wide 140 is finally arriving. I was sold in 5 minutes when I tried Wouters unit - we don’t get houses in Holland but loads of messy multi-direction wind and shorebreak, gonna be so much fun to shred that. I’ll try the large fin for sure.
What are you on, the 150 or 140?

150 and i felt a touch under gunned blasting down the faces but the board did just fine!
