I’m looking for a filler kite between my 7m & 11m 2008 Waroo’s. It’s not completely needed but it would be nice.

My options are
- 9m Waroo 2009
-10m RPM
- 10m Rise 2009
- 9m Instinct Sport 2009

I rode the RPM and it was very nice expecially during loops, it jumped well and stalled very little, bar pressure was fine but I don’t want a kite with more than it. Any opinions on my other options would be appreciated. The 9m Waroo 2009 is a no brainer but I wouldn’t mind trying something new. I’m looking for a kite to learn basic unhooked tricks and kiteloops like a dream (I was blown away with the RPM in that category) my demo RPM day was really to windy to unhook

I think here u are going to get 99% of people suggesting the 10m 09 Rise. I was thinking of trying a Waroo last year but come on 5-8 pullies or whatever!! I got the 09 10m Rise, and I love it so much Ive only used the 12m twice since ( in 3 months ). Actually I think the perfect combo would be a 10m/12m Rise and 8m Rise. The 10m because it moves faster has almost same power as the 12m, obviously have to work it harder in light conditions but yeah great kite.

A kite to fit between the 11 and 7 Waroo .  I would look at the 8 Rise . Compared to the Rise the Waroo are well down on power so the 10 Rise would be more like a 13 Waroo and the 8 Rise will be a little more powerful than the 9 Waroo The easiest to compare the Rise is to 2+ meters onto the its size and that will be close to other manufactures. Bar pressure is light and set up so simple, throw the lines on and away you go

The 8m is a little rocket ... 15 - 25 knot kite ... Sin this kite effortlessly to keep it powered in the lulls & lean back & enjoy the ride in the puffs !!!

How about a 9M Rise ?
Yeah, I know, I wish it existed. 9M seems to be a perfect pair with a 12M.

A 9m would be perfect indeed! I also got a 12, and after long consideration I added a 10, because an 8 would have been just a bit too small. I think for a 2 kite quiver a spread of 3 kitesizes would be optimal.

It´d be great if they designed a 9m. diablo or rise! i´d be terrific!!!!

I see no need for Rise 9. The 8 and 12 are perfect and you do not need anything in between. You start to have fun on the 8 from a little over 15 knots on. The 8 is the best Rise for me… And yes, I am talking about 2008 Rises, have not flown the 2009s.

I know all you cats out there really wish I was more irresponsible and told you all of the tricks that we have up our sleeves for next season but, well, I won’t! However, what I can confirm for you is this: Next season we will offer the 2010 Rise in sizes 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 16. The thought being that this would allow for a 7/10, 8/11 or 9/12 combo for those seeking the best 2 kite quiver or a 6/9/12 for those seeking a 3 kite quiver.

Of course, this would also allow the hardcore real Crew members to honour their duty to the flag and buy a 4/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/14/16 quiver. This is surely the best way to ensure you will not miss a possible day of riding! As the head of sales I’d remind you as well that each of these should be bought complete with bar and lines for a higher resale value in time for the next season’s quiver!

Yeah, we are spoiled.

At 140 lbs, I’m riding a three kite quiver with 8, 10, 12M 09 Rises. This covers most wind ranges, but still not everything.

I love my 09’ 8 RISE & please put me down for a yellow 11M !!!

Great news John! Wise Rise Sizing. I think the 7m will sell very well.
On another note, I was out on a local kite spot today and was amazed by the amount of Rises up there. Barry and Wouter well done! And guess what, all well behaved greatly skilled and intelligent riders on them!
