It works very well. All Rises (and many other kites) have a standard line/kite interface, meaning that the lines have equal lenght when the bar is full sheeted in (against the chickenloop). Bridle lines and control line leaders on the kite are matched to that.
As a matter of fact I’m just in from a sesh on the 10m Rise 08 on the 40cm 09 bar - killer!

Thanx El Rudo…. so you used the 40cm bar instead of the 50?  My 10M 2008 Rise came stock with the 50cm
bar and was going to replace that with the same size…

that’s very personal, but it really works for me!
