Hi all heading to the D.R. for some months,  board choice time, anyone rode the 150 wide Mako in waves a lot also have an Underground wave tray which board will rule in the waves of the two you think? thanks

i like my wide in the waves

I’ve ridden my Mako Wide 150 in the surf on the Oregon coast all summer and it’s darn close to having a surfboard under you! It’s sure nice to be able to chiken jibe quickly in front of a big set.

confirmed. The wide is great in surf. I like to ride it even though it is not a dedicated wave board.
