I know the 2009 gear is out, but I really like my 2007 Rises. 
Here’s the deal.  The spectra loop that attaches the trim cleat to the chicken loop has broken, the chicken loop was just replaced a week ago.  Can I reattch the trim cleat using two stainless t-nuts?.  My plan is to burn through two holes and insert the t-nuts.  Is there anything I should be careful not to cut or burn through?

I’m about to upgrade my 2007 SLE Bar to have the revised front line swivel and the 2009 CL/QR assembly.

Just contacted Evan to see if any helpful .PDFs were ever available regarding these upgrades,

as I also want to make sure I have ordered all the parts needed, too.
