hi there…I just had a few questions about the go-joe’s,,,..

I read that O.R. was re-designing/upgrading/ improving the original design of the Go -Joe’s… True??

And if so,,,how is O.R. improving it??  What will the changes be?

Just curious

New GoJoes

I suppose we will find out about the new GoJoes in less than 2 weeks. I will be getting one of the first new ones.

I am very interested in what they changed. I think the design of the old one was nearly perfect. You can always build them stronger!

Looks a lot tougher this time.
Nice job OR team! 8)

[quote author=“EvanOR”]In response to your requests for a more stylish Go Joe, I’m stoked to present the new, more robust 09 version. In shops soon, please contact your dealer to get ‘em. There are definitely no more excuses for that dangerous and kooky leash!

Cheers,

Evan

GoJoe/grab handle mounting screws issue.

There is an important issue with, at least, the new Mako Wide and the GoJoe. The board handle mounting screws for the Mako wide are too short to allow for mounting a GoJoe. What I did was take my longer board mounting screws from my 2007 Mako Classic and use those to mount the GoJoe on the Mako Wide.

Take home message: If you want to mount a GoJoe on the new Mako Wide, you will need longer mounting screws than those provided with the board. The OR dealers worldwide should be aware of this issue and stock the longer screws.

regards
Kirk
