The only difference I noticed was a grab handle on the frount line for self landing and flaging the kite. Bar stopper is a little different but does the same thing. :!:

So the 07 does not have the handle on the front line. Does the 07 bar have a ring to hook the leash to the front line? If the leash is on the front line, I guess you can use the leash to self land.
Ya, theres a leash attachement point on the front line of the 07 sle bar. Make sure your leash is long enough to make it there without getting in the way. Leash off your trim while riding and when you want to come in to self land leash off the front line.
I have never moved my leash when coming in to land, I just leave it on the trim line. I haven’t had a problem self landing this way, usually fly the kite to one side and then pull the top corner down by pulling on the front line.
