Referring Crew Members shall, at all times and under all circumstances, represent himself as an independent Crew Member and shall never give to anyone any reasonable grounds to believe, especially to prospective Ocean Rodeo customers, that he is acting as a representative of Ocean Rodeo Sports.
Referring Crew Members electing to organize their own demo events or to host Crew Gatherings do so entirely independently of Ocean Rodeo and Ocean Rodeo will not be held liable or responsible for any consequences thereof. Further, the Referring Crew Member understands that they are in no way authorized to incur any debt, expense or obligation on behalf of Ocean Rodeo Sports.
The Referring Crew member understands that he is an independent Crew Member and that this agreement in no way authorizes him to act as a reseller of Ocean Rodeo products, that no exclusive territories have been assigned, that no franchise fees have been paid or franchise rights granted and that the independent Referring Crew Member has not acquired any interest in a security.
Ocean Rodeo reserves the right to revoke Referring Crew Member status from any Crew Member at any time and for any reason but specifically if a Crew Member is purporting to work for or otherwise represent Ocean Rodeo or if they are to be conducting themselves in a manner inconsistent with Ocean Rodeo's view of proper beach etiquette. Revoked Referral Crew Member status will result in a loss of all stored credit on file. Ocean Rodeo may, at any time in the future, also elect to cancel the Referring Crew Member program and may at that time and at its sole discretion elect to cancel all pending credits owing to its participating members.
Nothing in this agreement will ever be read to assume any Referring Crew Member is an employee, officer, associate or contractor to Ocean Rodeo Sports Inc. Credits earned by Referring Crew Members will be awarded as a discount against future purchases and will be considered a sales incentive, not a payment of any kind.
